Cinnamon sweet bread(Daring Bakers Challenge Februrary 2014)

Assalamo alaikum,
When i saw this months daring baker challenge i was really excited cause last time when i participated in daring bakers challenge it didnt really came out as i was thinking ,but this time it is bread i love playing with dough:) Before any other details let me tell you about daring bakers by "the daring kitchen ",we are a challenged with amazing recipes by great bloggers and its revealed on our blogs on 27th of the month .hey stop by my blog on 27th of next month i might be trying out another daring baker challenge!!!
Beauty surrounded the Daring Bakers this month as our host, Sawsan, of chef in disguise, challenged us to make beautiful, filled breads. Who knew breads could look as great as they taste? i couldn't thank Sawsan enough, before this challenge i never thought bread can be a part an artistic creation and it was so much fun, thanks!!Please do visit her blog she is very experienced and has really amazing recipes worth the visit!!!
This was something new to me so i followed the recipe as is( with very small variations ),but i would soon try artistic beautiful breads with some other recipes also,so come back soon you all.My readers would enjoy looking at it but make sure you give it a try also as it may seem a little intimidating but for sure you will enjoy making it also inshAllah!!!

Cinnamon Sweet Bread
1/4 cup warm water
3/4 cup warm milk
1 large egg
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3-1/4 cups flour,

2 teaspoons dry yeast

For topping:
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 stick butter
4 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar

For brushing:

some melted butter for extra shine

For drizzling:
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
mix together,butter,yeast,egg ,water and milk
Combine flour and salt
combine dry and liquid ingredients to make a soft dough.
place it in lighlty oil bowl and cover it wet kitchen towel and let it rest in warm place
let it rise double the size of its original size
now on lightly floured surface form it into a disc
divide the disc into four equal parts

roll all four of them into 10 inch circles
now with a brush spread butter on all four of the layers

And sprinkle sugar and cinnamon powder on three of them

place the layers on top of each other and place the layer with only butter on the top
now make cuts to divide the circle into eight triangles

make cut that go 2/3 of the middle of triangle making sure that it does not go to either top or bottom of triangle

now take the tip of triangle and take it out from underside through the slit in the middle

place all the triangles in the baking tray

pinch the two angles at the base of triangle

brush the dough with milk
and let it rest for 15 mins
heat oven at highest temperature of your oven mine was 550 F
after 15 mins place your tray in the oven oven for 5 mins and then lower down the temperature at 390 F and
bake the bread for 15 - 20 mins until golden brown on top and cooked from inside
if you its not getting cooked inside cover it with foil and lower the temperature and if it not getting brown on top turn on the broiler for little while to achieve the golden color.

let the bread cool on wire rack for 5 mins and brush it with some
drizzle with sweetend condensed milk while bread is still warm.
serve warm and enjoy!!!
